I am reporting Florestan by Elisabetta Brusa, I invite you to do so as soon as possible, there is a magnificent recording by Naxos!
It is one of the most beautiful Italian orchestral pieces of the last 30 years at least. A piece of extraordinary imaginative and sonic power, one of the most beautiful examples of that international 'neoromanticism' that brings it close to the best music of many Anglo-American authors such as Del Tredici, Argento, and Corigliano (all of Italian origin...) and in particular E. Rautavaara, regarding the old continent. Not to be missed, unforgettable!
Thank you Ettore for the correction and the pleasant contextualization of this work
