Elsa Triangi plays Chopin Trento 2014

Every comment is superfluous. Because reaching 100 years is already extraordinary, let alone... playing the piano. From an artistic point of view... certainly... observations should be made, but my respect for the extraordinariness of the performance forbids it. Let's just say that a few days ago I lent a friend a record that Rubinstein recorded at age 90. Impeccable. Of course, in maturity, one carries all the qualities and defects assimilated during an artistic life... somewhat enlarged, as if with a magnifying glass. Although, precisely, some slightly "unacademic" choices are tolerated out of respect, as in this case. But here, one must emphasize the extraordinariness of the event.
