Beautiful modal, I had written to you in your last post that that piece was the one that convinced me most compared to the ones I had heard... this one is even better

Very welcome by me too. A truly very particular sonority.

Modal, I must tell you that this piece of yours is very sensual. I really like it very much; among those I have listened to, it seems to me the most inspired; at times sweet and delicate, at times just melancholy enough.
I also find the way it conducts itself to be spot on, my warmest compliments even if I imagine that the source of inspiration is not quite as pleasant... I saw that someone even suggested Gesang Der Junglinge.
I say... how do you do it?

I thank the friends of the forum for the feedback. I hope to have provided an example of how much can be done using practically only one way for several minutes. As you can see, a theme is not necessary to compose a piece; in modal harmony, the theme is the harmonic environment of the mode.
Try converting the mp3 format of the track into cd audio format and listen to it all on a good hi-fi!!.........

For the less experienced, I should point out that this has been the case since the days of dodecaphony; in fact, the series of 12 tones was not a melody but an ordering criterion that normally encompassed the entirety of the composition.
