F. Liszt Transcendental Etude No. 1

Moreover, I notice how at the end there is a lot of Chopin in this étude... who knows if there is a connection with the technical difficulties you encountered

I imagine you are referring mainly to Op. 10 no. 1; I don't know the study entirely, but from what I have found, the arpeggios in this Liszt study are even worse in some ways and more comfortable in others.... the advantage of these is that they are exclusively alternating C major and C minor; the problem you encounter is having to slur a descending arpeggio with a perfect 4th jump between the pinky and the ring finger.... and as long as you go slowly, it comes out clean.... when you accelerate, well.... you can hear it hahahahah

ps in fact I certainly am not complaining hahahah it was born as a challenge against myself (and against Liszt) to do this study which, among the 12, is the simplest

It would have been nice to hear your study on a grand piano and with better audio...

You could also take inspiration from the 3 étude, just an idea

In effect, a double escapement mechanism could help make that part more fluid, but I enjoyed listening to it quite a bit.

Concert studies are phantasmagorical. I did the third and the second. I miss reading the first, which is also very beautiful. Of all of them, the best in my opinion is the second.

thanks thanks, yes it is the simplest and I am starting to work on the 3rd in my free time, I'm not yet convinced to do it....
