I'm pointing out Impromptu (1991) - a film (perhaps too romantic) that represents the relationship between Frédéric Chopin (played by Hugh Grant) and George Sand (Judy Davis)

I don't remember when, but I found this VHS in one of those bargain bins you find in supermarkets.

The film is certainly not a masterpiece, but it is still watchable within its genre.

Hugh Grant and Judy Davis were not yet very famous to the general public, but they were perfect for the two roles, while Julian Sands in the role of Liszt was truly horrendous (he hasn't improved since).

On YouTube, click "Chopin film" and a series of episodic films and documentaries will appear where you can get a lot of information. Most of the films are not in Italian, but you can still understand the story. "Chopin amore mio" on YouTube is in Russian and English. There are many documentaries. It is also interesting to call the Charterhouse of Valldemossa in Palma de Mallorca and you will be presented with a series of documentaries showing the cell where Chopin stayed, his Pleyel piano where he used to play, still in excellent condition, and various objects that belonged to him.

Yesterday I happened to watch the thriller "Chopin's Nocturne" ( http://www.altadefinizione.one/167-il-notturno-di-chopin-2014.html). Naturally, it is not connected to Chopin's biography, but his music is not in it either.
