Good morning everyone. I purchased the Sonata font from the Adobe website with the hope of being able to use it as a replacement for the default one in Finale. Unfortunately, I have found that the characters do not match the original font; in fact, instead of noteheads, alphanumeric characters appear. I don't know how to use it. Would anyone be able to tell me if there is a solution to this, I wouldn't want to have thrown away 40 euros for nothing.
The operating system is Windows 7. I believe I performed the installation correctly. I installed the Font following standard practice; since it was listed in the alternative fonts list in the Finale guide, I didn't think I had to build a library from scratch...
