As music notation software, I use Sibelius a lot; I find it more intuitive and simpler than Finale. I started using it from version 4, now I have version 7, and it seems to me that the latest one on the market is version 8. Do you use Finale or Sibelius, not to mention other minor programs like MuseScore etc....

I use Sibelius 8 and I am doing well even if the transition from 7 to 8 was not exactly immediate.

...more than anything it was just to get a few more opinions. I don't find it to be a duplicate since the software releases change and maybe someone remains dissatisfied and changes course

Besides, I didn't know they had decided that Sibelius was the last release in those years, is that why it stopped at release 8? I don't want to be wrong, but it is still on the market.

Sibelius is practically finished. Avid has laid off the developers.
