Good morning everyone, I am once again turning to your kind expertise, this time for an emergency case. Having completed a transcription of almost 600 measures, the ineffable 2014 version of my Finale on iMac decided to play a trick on me; while listening to the playback of the work done (for piano and string orchestra), I noticed that the double bass part on some pages has gone haywire: strange notes have appeared, horizontal lines crossing over the page (!), and out-of-sync sounds more or less corresponding to the three or four pages where this mess occurred. In the piano part, in one measure, all the notes clustered together at the beginning of the measure, leaving the rest of the space within it empty.
I have the impression that I have already lived through this story, several years ago, with an old version of the program, but I don't remember what solution I adopted, although it seems to me that it had something to do with the visibility or non-visibility of hidden elements that could be made to appear or disappear. But I might also be remembering imprecisely. Anyway, it seems to me that the "mess" happened while playback was running... Does anyone have an idea of what happened and how to return the file to its original state?
Here are two images; if I try to make a PDF, the problem is visible on only one page, whereas in the opened file it appears on four in a row. It also pops up even if I extract the cello and double bass parts.

If you don't have a backup to start from, it is better to create a new worksheet and manually copy and paste all parts into it

Damn, the last copy of the file I made already contains the defect because when I duplicated it I hadn't noticed it yet... And yet I have the impression of not remembering something; years ago something similar happened to me and I think I had found a function like delete something, or don't show something that had made the scattered notes disappear, leaving the correct ones underneath. Oh well...
