Good evening, as some of you may know, a year ago I resumed my studies and since November I have been officially in conservatory... After a few months (7) I tried to do a "test" in a small competition, here is the video of my audition in Florence (2nd prize).. the program isn't exactly "competition" material since Beethoven is always a tough nut to crack, but I tried anyway.
Beethoven sonata op.13 1st movement (usually goes better)
Debussy etude pour le cinq doigts (usually goes better)
The technique seems good to me, a pity about the audio which does not allow me to make observations from a musical point of view.

congratulations on the result!! it's clear that you are studying a lot...! it's true that the audio doesn't allow one to capture many important nuances and perhaps the piano wasn't helping either. It seemed to me it had a somewhat harsh sound and didn't follow you in the pianissimo... I don't know, maybe I'm wrong!
take everything with a grain of salt... in Beethoven, the basses often cover the melody.... but anyway, well done!!!
it seems good to me.... even if I have some doubts about the dynamics at the beginning of Beethoven's Pathétique, but I'm going to go back and check it! Well done

Beethoven a bit uncertain but it's fine... You can feel that he must have matured and internalized it, but with the time you had to prepare, you worked a miracle.
Very, very good Rachmaninoff, perhaps a tiny bit faster in some passages where the level of tension should be increased (if one really wants to split hairs).
Chopin was also good, even if with a few small slips, perhaps due to emotion.
Excellent technique, the left hand was also very good. Hearing you like this, you should perhaps work a little more in the future on the differentiation of voices between the two hands, but considering it has only been 7 months since you started again, I would say the result was amazing!! My most sincere congratulations for the result achieved.
If you work a little more on these small things, I am sure that at the next competition, no one will take first place away from you!
