Strange question:
-how do I assign fingering to some transcriptions I have made of some guitar pieces adapted for pf?
I already have some problems with the pedal: some guitar strings keep ringing while others do not.

If you already know how to finger for pf, what is the problem?
Since you have made a transcription, you have probably already identified the musical ideas; the fingering should respect them.

Do you mean like harmony pedals that you should hold and the pf resonance pedal ruins the party for you?
If that were the case, you should strike back with gusto or make sure that one finger is dedicated to that note that stays "down"...

The guitar plays an octave lower, I don't know if it can clarify things.
