I advise you to perform the study a few times with a metronome, to unify the tempo of the entire piece. The metronome, rather than serving as a torture device for practicing, should serve exactly for this: helping you understand if you can still maintain the same tempo you started with during difficult passages. Obviously, one cannot play in a concert as if they had a metronome, there are nuances of tempo, but during the study phase, it is useful to use it as feedback. Anyway, as I repeat, for having studied only a few months, you are very good. Keep it up..

P.S. The piano isn't just a little out of tune... It is quite out of tune... Follow Paolo's videos on how to check if the piano is in tune. First step: check A4, then all the harmonic ratios, although it already sounds good to the ear. 😕 Have it tuned before things start to get excessive; otherwise, it will cost you more later and you'll have to retune it again within a few months to stabilize it.

The search for sound quality even suggests to us, sometimes or perhaps always, the technical solutions. Have it tuned and perhaps slightly intonated. It's important. It seems to me that you handled the passage that was worrying you quite well. I see you are calm. Of course, one cannot understand much more from a video and now you cannot expect much more. When there are repeated notes, I would suggest playing them all with one finger, slightly cushioning the wrist, trying to feel the adherence to the key. I don't know if your Maestro agrees. Two different schools sometimes support contrary things. Anyway... Keep it up... and maybe study a bit with the metronome... but not too much. Try to understand well (even without highlighting them!) where the accents are, that is, the rhythmic supports, and where the hand can be lighter in order to then lean when necessary. Gravitation on the keyboard can be modulated by immediately learning to experiment with taking weight off and putting weight from the shoulder. No hardening during the moment of lightening... as if someone were suspending you, lifting you and leaving your shoulder. Relaxation is fundamental!!!!!! The energy that you will swing more and more in the studies will come from the ability to know how to relax yourself and manage the related movements: fingers-wrist-forearm-shoulder...... The decision to tune the instrument is most holy; an out-of-shape instrument puts You out of shape and prevents You from growing by acquiring fluency and relaxation.

Compliments also on the effort to challenge yourself.

Recently one of my daughters got married and I, for her wedding, wanted to give her - in addition to the usual things - a special gift; I prepared a sort of small concert: one piece before each course.

And I remember well what it meant in terms of commitment: days and days of study and the feeling that I wouldn't make it!

Forgive me Francesco for replying late, the score I use I purchased at Ricordi because I like to collect them; I think it is the same but if you want I can scan it. 🙂
