Finally, the new listens have arrived
Genelec needs no introduction. They represent a guarantee in terms of quality and reliability. It is a brand used in all the best studios in the world.
Previously in my project studio, I used to use the Behringer Truth 3030A series. Behringer doesn't make beautiful things, but they really succeeded with these monitors (in reality, they are based on a KRK design). Let's just say that out of the entire Behringer series, I like the Truth monitors and the x32 digital mixer.
The Truths are a little "nasal" to tell the truth, but it's not an insurmountable defect if you can calibrate them properly.
The Genelecs are another story, needless to say... Much more detailed. They reveal differences even when changing the equalization of a track very slightly. Differences are noticed immediately. The weight is more or less the same. The tweeters are not ribbon tweeters, but they are also very delicate.
