A new composer is added to my stable (exactly number 53).
It is George Enescu, a Romanian composer about whom much is said but rarely listened to.
I had to consult texts in Romanian, but I discovered that it does not have many differences with Italian. In other more common languages, there is almost nothing.

Just how much has this man written? I didn't even know him... but are there recordings around the web? What do you recommend listening to?

The theme song of "Leonardo" from Tg3 is an arrangement of one of his pieces (for cello and piano, if I'm not mistaken). Very beautiful!

George Enescu, composer, excellent violinist and pianist, wrote a lot of high-value music but little of it has been published, as you can notice by browsing the catalog on the website.
On YouTube you can find several things to listen to, but in particular I recommend the Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 (romana means Romanian)
