Musicians born after January 1, 1987, residing in Campania and possessing the following requirements are admitted to the competition:
• Intermediate Diploma (Compimento Medio) and/or Three-year Degree (Triennio Nuovo Ordinamento) obtained during the academic years 2010/11 or 2011/12;
• Advanced Diploma (Compimento Superiore) and/or Two-year Specialization (Biennio Nuovo Ordinamento) obtained during the academic years 2010/11 or 2011/12.
The competition is divided into three categories:
• Cat. A Piano
• Cat. B Guitar
• Cat. C Violin and Viola
The prizes consist of:
• To the first-place winners of each category, with a score equal to or higher than 95/100, a 1st prize diploma and plaque will be awarded, plus a scholarship of € 500 (net)
• To the second-place winners of each category, with a score equal to or higher than 90/100, a 2nd prize diploma and plaque will be awarded, plus a scholarship of € 300 (net)
• To the third-place winners of each category, with a score not lower than 85/100, a 3rd prize diploma and plaque will be awarded, plus a scholarship of € 200 (net).
The first-place winners of each Category will participate, during the Awards Ceremony, in the assignment of the “Gesualdo da Venosa” Prize, consisting of a scholarship of € 1000 (net).
Prize concerts are currently being defined. The Management undertakes to publish the list of prize concerts on the Competition website.
