Good evening and thank you for joining. I am Diana, very passionate about pianos. I need some advice. In a shop, I saw a grand piano brand H. Kohl Hamburg. Looking at it, it is new both in the mechanics and externally. It has a beautiful sound. It is from 1974. The asking price is 5,500 euros, with a little room for negotiation... Is it a well-known brand? Thank you. Regards

I don't know this brand. One must be careful about how it has been "touched". The price seems too low to me. "filing" a little something... one has to see. Sometimes the hammer rail is shaved down.....one has to see the condition of the strings and if it holds tuning well....that the soundboard doesn't have cracks...etc. Watch my video tutorial on buying a used piano!
