If the left pedal of a grand piano is stiff, what kind of intervention do you recommend I apply?
If the action moves when pressing the right or left pedal on an antique piano, how do you recommend I intervene?
Thank you

check the frame movement and the spring efficiency. Use DRY teflon lubricant
The lyre must have counter bars

Hi, the lyre on this antique 1935 piano has only a single opposition rod and is centered relative to the pedalboard. The dealer told me to sleep soundly because it would be enough to either add a small piece of wood between the joint of the opposition rod and the board or tighten the two wing nuts more. Is it really that easy?
Thank you

add a spacer in one of the two holes of the rod if it is too short
