A great absence. But as a wise journalist said, "Geniuses do not die.. they vanish". He will always be with us. We must also give him a special Thank You for what he has done for young musicians and more.

I have just finished watching Baremboim's beautiful tribute to his friend Abbado at La Scala.

Instead of the broadcast only on RAI5, I would have had it broadcast on unified networks RAI+MEDIASET+LA7 and I would have had national mourning proclaimed.

For whom else if not for Claudio Abbado?
