i am returning to a problem already discussed, the hammer rebound in an upright piano.
There has been talk of correcting the defect by intervening on the position of the hammer rail, bringing them closer so that the hammer should rest on it. But when is it better to intervene on the key lever? or via the eyelet that regulates the jack?
I find myself in a critical situation, where if I adjust the key lever, the hammer detaches from the rail; if I act on the hammer rail, I do not solve the problem, as to reduce the rebound I have to bring it too close with the related problems, if I act on the eyelet, the result is minimal.
