I wanted to ask you a question regarding a price proposal made to me by my current tuner. Basically, the hammer heads of my piano are worn out and therefore need to be replaced. Now he told me that to do this, he relies on an external company to which he sends the action to perform the replacement, and he proposed a price of ā¬500 + tuning. Now my question is: in your opinion, is this an acceptable price? Since I have never had this procedure done, I wouldn't know how to proceed, which is why I am asking you.

Yes, obviously I only needed to know in general if the price range was normal, since I have never needed to replace the hammer heads until now. Usually, this tuner has proven to be efficient, patient, and not too expensive, but I think asking never hurts
