Good morning everyone, I am a new member. My name is Federico, I am a great music enthusiast in general, but specifically classical, modern, and jazz; I have played the piano since I was 12 years old, then due to various circumstances after getting married I stopped playing regularly, but every now and then I play a bit to keep myself in practice. A good result after years of study, even being the son of a musician—my father plays the violin and teaches music; even today, at 90 years old, he says that music keeps him young and trains his mind. As I described previously on the forum, I have an upright piano that many years ago I had checked and had the hammer mechanism repaired, but now that it is used rarely, I have difficulty playing because some hammers do not return; I have seen many tutorials on your site, but I haven't found how to solve the problem. If someone can help me: on one tutorial I saw inserting drops of a liquid, but they didn't specify what it was or where it could be obtained, and if it can be replaced with a more commercial and readily available product. Your site is very interesting and worth following, also because there are many self-taught or incompetent technicians out there. Now I leave you to your work, and we will hear from each other often; I thank you all very much and excuse me if I have caused you any trouble, greetings.

Federico
