Good morning everyone,
My name is Cristiano, I am 35 years old and I have been a music enthusiast since the age of 4; thanks to my father's teachings, I studied classical and jazz guitar extensively, and I spontaneously approached the keyboard, always favoring self-taught training and consequently developing mediocre results, mainly attributable to a lack of will to apply myself with tenacity and dedication.
After a dark period dating back two years that ended with the passing of my father, I rediscovered—perhaps more appropriately, found—the study of the piano, a great joy of living and a great satisfaction that comes from studying such a grand and emotional instrument. In the past, I always let myself be swayed by compliments regarding my potential in this regard without ever exploiting it; currently, I study about 6 hours a day, seven days a week, following private lessons. My teacher declares himself very satisfied with my progress, while I am less and less so, but that is due to my obsessive search for optimal artistic and technical growth. The fact remains that I am preparing for the conservatory entrance exam for the year 2013-14, still undecided whether for the fifth or seventh year. After this rambling from an unknown ivory violator, those who still want to read might be interested to know that parallel to this, I work as a tuner and restorer (perhaps in my first or second weapons) at a workshop in my city.
