Hello everyone, I have a small "problem" with my grand piano. From what I hear around, it seems to be a problem that many people encounter, namely having a heavy keyboard. I have a Hoffmann, which features Renner action, with a very sweet sound; however, the stiffness of the keyboard and the key dip force me to articulate with greater vigor, affecting all the piano and pianissimo present in the piece. Sometimes, the note doesn't even start at all. What could this depend on? Can something be done?

Thank you!

It depends on many things: regulation, control of pin friction, control of the correct key dip. Call a competent Technician who knows how to perfectly fine-tune your instrument. Let me know
