Good morning,

I don't know if a topic already exists, I would like to ask for advice on a detergent to clean the soundboard after having removed the dust with the appropriate spatula.

I read that some European technicians use polish.

What do you think?

Dear James, generally the soundboard is not very accessible unless the strings are removed. In this case, a light polish is fine. If the strings remain, you can lightly dampen the spatula with a cleaning liquid, like the one used for glass. It dries immediately and removes the dust stuck to the varnish well. A little patience is required. Work in small areas and go over them again to dry. Be careful not to wet the strings, obviously
