Hello everyone!
My name is Matteo, and I am a young "aspiring pianist" (^^) fourteen-year-old who loves classical music and, if it weren't for his mother, would study piano even four, five hours a day xD
In June, I want to attempt the entrance exam for the conservatory: as pieces, I believe I will bring Debussy's Clair de lune, Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, two two-part inventions (No. 4 and No. 8), major scales and arpeggios, and a couple of etudes (still all being finalized).
My absolute favorite composer is Chopin: I adore the previously mentioned nocturne and Op. 27 No. 2, Etude Op. 10 No. 3 (Tristesse) and No. 4, the Impromptu-Fantaisie Op. 66, and another nocturne—I think it's the one in C# major or minor, I don't remember.
Then there is Liszt, Liebestraum No. 3 and La Campanella.
Finally Rachmaninoff, with his Concerto No. 3 Op. 30, spectacular.
My peculiarity at the piano? I have no problems with interpretation... xD
Ah, I am from Brescia, and I have been playing for 6 years, but I have only done 3 years of lessons (first year yes, second year yes, third no, fourth yes, fifth no, and I resumed this February).
Well, what can I say, nice to meet you!!
