I am a less-than-amateur keyboardist: a few years ago, having regained possession of my old upright piano after a very long period of separation, I had attempted to tune it myself, with results that were all in all not even too disastrous, at least for my ear. Unfortunately, however, I let the piano go out of tune again without even attempting to start playing again and now, full of good intentions, I am about to attempt to tune it once more. As proof that this time I want to get serious, I have obtained a Korg electronic tuner, I ordered a tuning hammer of the right size, because last time I had used one that was too small, and I have joined this forum: I will come to bother you at the first difficulties, before doing irreparable damage, I hope. I like Bach, Schubert, Brahms and Tom Waits, and much of everything else. Thank you for everything I have already found useful on the site and forgive me until now if my contribution to the forum is one of pure exploitation, given my lack of specific skills.
