My name is Fabio, alias Zeus75. Why Zeus?! Because my favorite cartoon is Pollon :-)

I am a keyboardist; I write arrangements and produce music. I really like electronic sounds; I was raised on Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Pink Floyd. I listen to everything except Jazz—I don't like it! (my apologies to the Jazz musicians). I produce electronic music, but in the past, I have ventured into various genres, including symphonic orchestral writing. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to form precious collaborations with very talented professionals who have taught me a lot, especially in the studio production field. To write music, I use Logic Pro 9 with an excellent setup of plugins and VIs. I hope to meet some great people in this forum, so that perhaps I can be of help :-) hello everyone!!

Mere curiosity, what bothers you about Jazz... the worst thing that makes you "hate" it...

Good question .... what I don't like about Jazz is the sadness that comes to me from this music.

It will surely be a limitation of mine, and I won't hide that because of this "psychological wall" I have never managed to make it my friend.

Another aspect that is not part of my world is that typical Jezzistic constancy in wanting to virtuoso continuously.

If you have any points of argument to help my mind go beyond, I am at your complete disposal.

Ciao Fabio.

Rather than arguing, I think it might also be a matter of luck/bad luck in the first listenings; I am writing this because you speak of "wanting to show off virtuosity continuously".

There is plenty of non-virtuosic Jazz music, unless you are referring to solos ...but they are not an entire musical piece, which is also made of other things.

The Jazz section can be full of ideas... perhaps some old discussions can help
