Hello everyone, my name is Luciano and I have finally recently become the father of a beautiful Yamaha C5... I hope to find many good tips and many people passionate not only about music but also interested in the piano as a technical object!
If you are looking for a place to find advice and information about the piano and the world of music in general, you are in the right place.
The piano you were lucky enough to purchase is a beautiful piano... I once played a C5 at a music exam... I don't remember the sound well, but Yamaha mechanics are almost always impeccable. You will do well... ๐ณ
And yes, you will also find people attentive to the "technical" aspect of the instrument (I am one of them), which anyway always affects that entire complex aspect that forms a pianist's "touch"; in short, everything becomes part of that complex system we call "piano"... including mechanics. Paolo's (pianoexpert) video tutorials are very interesting and for me too they represented a valid explanation of everything that is "under the keyboard" and that the pianist should know, but does not always know (erroneously!)...
Surely Paolo and Simone won't take long to respond either, anyway...
The C5 is an excellent instrument, with so much voice!!! Well tuned and especially "intonated", it sounds wonderful. Let us hear something played by you. Bye
