Hi everyone! I'm Elena, I've been studying piano privately for many years, although for quite a while I had stopped because I was demotivated by former teachers... it happens when you don't have an iron will at 18 anyway, anyway, nice to meet you! I like music for piano (especially 🙂) but I also love chamber and symphonic music. My idol is Mozart, but I also really like Chopin, Scarlatti, Beethoven and in particular the composers of the Slavic national school or otherwise from the Eastern European area. I am about to graduate in foreign languages, master's degree; I don't have a dream in my drawer, but music makes me dream even if I don't have and never had the intention of studying to become a concert pianist.

I enjoy exchanging opinions with others and receiving advice and suggestions regarding study, choice of pieces, technique etc. I have an Atlas upright piano; it's white and a bit old, in fact I need to have it repaired because the hammers have deep grooves and the cashmere cylinders need to be redone—in short, I've played it well over these years. Relying on finding a job, I would like to save money to buy a baby grand piano, even used; I've always liked them so much! Lately, I am trying to make up for the years of reflection with as much practice as possible and experimenting with some duets for piano and violin, I believe it can help improve sight-reading.

Well, sorry if I went on too long!
