Hello everyone... Although I am not a pianist but someone who strums on a keyboard, I have developed a great desire to have a piano at home. Playing, even if badly, relaxes me a lot and I have decided that in the little country house I am renovating (trulli in Alberobello) there must be this fantastic instrument. Clearly, a bit because of the budget—since I wouldn't even use 1% of its potential—I am orienting myself towards something very inexpensive: I found a Hubel (Russian???) from the 90s in decent condition for less than €300 that I would like to learn how to repair. In reality, one of the reasons that pushed me to look for an acoustic piano is precisely the desire to learn about its mechanics, but I hope to delve into this aspect in the appropriate section with your precious advice, which is currently my favorite reading.
