Hi, I have just started studying piano after years of playing the accordion (Paolo Soprani 80B). Currently, I am studying with a non-weighted Gem keyboard. I must switch to a weighted one (on my teacher's strong advice). I was thinking of purchasing a YAMAHA P95. I am asking the whole community if this is a keyboard that would be suitable for me, being a beginner, considering the budget I have planned. Does anyone know it? Are there other brands I could consider?

The P95 is an unpretentious keyboard. What can I say? I bought it to prepare for my piano diploma by playing at night when I couldn't play on the grand piano (so as not to disturb the neighbors).
If I was able to prepare my diploma with it, I believe you will be able to start playing on it. Of course, don't expect to feel like you are on an acoustic piano... Especially mechanically, it leaves much to be desired... But for a start, it might be okay.
