I found your Logic course very interesting.. at the age of 20 I started using the first software to make music (Cubase Lite), then gradually I evolved arriving at using Cubase SX. I want to specify that unfortunately, and I emphasize UNFORTUNATELY, I have no musical background, so I get by with the classic... I PLAY BY EAR...... all in all, I have already come out with 2 remixes, one of which is together with Lady Violet (a singer from the 90s) thanks to these video courses and a good deal of imagination.......
Currently I use ABLETON SUITE but since I now have a Mac, I want to be able to use Logic 9 as well.... 😆 .

I do electronic music too, plus house and commercial ...how are you finding Ableton ?? with the file warping feature everything is easier 🙂
In truth, I understand very little about it, but with Ableton Live, I'm doing wonderful. It is very convenient and for what I do (music that is as arrhythmic, reflective, noisy, and relaxed as possible), I don't even need a MIDI controller! 😆

I am the crazy Logic user who also made the video tutorials (which will continue from mid-October, going hand in hand with the learning program of Apple's massive manuals—the first being 350 pages and the second 600 pages in English—on the use of Logic Pro). The work I am conducting, in addition to creating a video course for every chapter of the manual, also extends to translating the book into Italian, which currently does not exist. On this platform, together with Paolo Ferrarelli, alias pianoexpert, we are trying to bring innovations to the classic video courses circulating on the internet, but above all, more generally, we want to spread a musical culture that is now fading away; and by this, I do not mean referring only to classical music, but to music production thinking about what is being written, not just writing because it sounds catchy. First, we want to follow a professional path, namely a path based on music teaching—specifically music theory for the moment—following the ministerial programs of conservatories and linking this theory to practice. The best results are indeed obtained by putting theoretical foundations into practice; only in this way can one learn and store in the cerebral hard drive a subject that would otherwise be difficult to memorize. Another target, perhaps more important than the first, is the satisfaction of creating a product that is universally recognized as correct from a musical standpoint, meaning unassailable regarding compositional technique and harmonic and rhythmic relationships.
I therefore hope that you will continue to actively follow our forum, posting your discussions, uploading your musical creations, and participating in others' conversations; a forum that we have tried to make as broad as possible regarding subject matter, despite the name suggesting we only deal with the piano.
