I am coming off a mishap with a newly purchased piano, which I won't dwell on.
Since I have to return the piano because it has defects, the seller is proposing an exchange for a Yamaha P 121 which, according to him, is an excellent product, with the mechanics of the U1 and a European sound because it was designed in Europe with a Strunz soundboard.
I have found few 'serious' opinions on this model online.
Has anyone ever had experience with this instrument?
Thank you in advance!

I don't know if mine can be a serious opinion, I heard her play and I was not disappointed
It also depends a lot on what you are looking for...
I find myself at a crossroads. I have to choose between a refurbished U1 and a new P121.
The seller also told me that the P121 has the same cabinet, mechanics, keyboard etc. as the U1 (current). The difference would lie in the cabinet, which is slightly different, and in the soundboard,
which would be Spruce, and that is the reason why it should have a more European sound, more similar to German pianos.
I finally got it and, after some initial hesitation, I'm starting to like it and sometimes even get excited about it... The sound has 'settled in' and it is indeed different from the usual Yamahas. I am certain it will give me satisfaction!
