Agreed, but this is a transcription for pf 4 hands (doublings can be noticed). More than anything, they sound bad...

In this regard I am not very technical (and I really am not, it's useless to pretend, even if I have never claimed to know the technical details, the nuances that must be captured in performances; this type of sensitivity is not "developed" in me), you are right when you also rely on technical details, otherwise everyone would be able to perform his music well.

Anyway, Bach seems to have bestowed such a permeating character upon his music that even a decent performance feels its charm, the strength of the character.

PS by the way: I wrote that "they play badly" but I wasn't referring to technique: the problem is that they are as expressive as a no-parking sign!
