I am taking advantage of the existence of this section to ask a precise question: if one wanted to set up a quadraphonic sound system at home, what would they need?
Some requirements:
- I would like the audio to come from a PC (so what kind of sound card should I have?)
- Aside from the speakers (which ones, how many ways, etc.), what needs to be placed in between?
- Is a mixer needed? ...or anything else?
In short, I'm starting from scratch; some indications wouldn't hurt.
