Hello everyone, my name is Alessandro and I am writing from the province of Milan.
For a few months now, I have started playing the piano again, which was far too neglected in recent years, and I must say that sites like this do nothing but fuel that great passion we all have for music in general and for this instrument in particular.
So first of all, I would like to congratulate the administrators of this site for the great work done, especially regarding the video tutorials. As far as I am concerned, I have devoured all the videos on piano mechanics, but those on piano technique are also very interesting. I hope more will arrive soon!
I started playing at 12 years old, on a tiny keyboard (you know those mini keyboards with the mini keys?), initially as a self-taught player (I learned the rudiments of music theory through a cassette course...), and then by taking private lessons.
As a private student, I successfully passed the theory and solfeggio exam and the lower piano proficiency exam. Then, unfortunately, I abandoned my studies due to university commitments...
But moving on to the present day ... I would have a couple of little questions for the experts, but I think I will ask them in the dedicated sections. For now, I'll stop here and... see you again on the forum!
