Good evening everyone, since the melody workshop was my second... I want to show you my first ever imitated and fugued bass, relatively simple: subject, modulating progressions, and final cadence directly.

It is the very first one I am making, based on arrangements by my teacher who wants them done in ancient clefs; the bass is the first of Margola, and one of the few things he told me is that in the event you start the bass with 3 voices, when the 4th enters, to make a thematic entry, which I didn't do because I didn't know.

I would have pushed myself a bit further with the imitations and would have better paced the vocal entries, in the sense that 3 enter together and one is delayed, and furthermore with fragments that are not very interesting or not "thematic."

An encouraging Like to persevere
