In Web 2.0 (the one oriented towards social networks), it is certainly indispensable to have one's own space. This applies to (list by order of importance): Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, Vimeo, Tumblr, SoundHound. But this visibility must necessarily be the periphery of a personal website that serves as a business card. We must always remember that social networks were not born purely as advertising platforms but as spaces for social interaction. You certainly had your good reasons for removing your personal website, but if the intent is to build an online image, it is impossible to overlook any of the things mentioned above. Each of these has its own audience, and building an image implies trying to reach everywhere. There are the 'Facebook-patics,' but there are also web browsers who might find you through some article published on your personal website. It is not as simple for your article on Facebook to be indexed in the same way as if it were published on your personal site. On my site, I have only published a couple of articles due to time constraints; I can't quite keep up properly yet, but I promise myself to move correctly from now on regarding several projects I am carrying forward. Well, you can't imagine how many emails I received from people asking me questions about the two articles I had published (sample libraries and digital pianos).

Clearly, there are also people who shine with their own light, and others who, without shining with their own light, have built their image thanks to media that has a power hundreds of times greater than social networks, but they are under the impression that coming out into the open a little doesn't take much. It takes good ideas and the ability to put them into practice, and then promote them properly on one's own website and social networks. In short, it all boils down to a synergy of platforms that must work together to produce the expected results.

For the moment, my personal advertising relates solely to the existence of this forum and a few other things; therefore, in real life, only those who are "professionals" have recognized me, even without having seen me live. Every time I go to do a masterclass, there is someone who recognizes me... Obviously, we are talking about industry professionals.

Now I am trying to move into other areas, so to speak, more "popular" ones and thus with a larger pool of interest. I am creating covers of songs, mostly English, complete with videos that I will gradually link here on the forum as well. Moving in this direction, I aim to create an audience to whom I will then begin to offer something of my own, and we'll see what happens. Certainly, it is difficult today; I will have to reinvent myself and dedicate myself to a genre of music that is not purely mine, but we shall see; in any case, it will always be a beautiful thing for me to be able to challenge myself on unexplored ground.
