I wanted to open this "Your performances" section for those who want to share their achievements with all of us. It is a section that does not exist in any other forum dealing with the subject of music, and the idea was born to bring a bit of innovation and to move away from the standard. However, it is necessary to clarify a few things...
I want to specify and I UNDERLINE that this is not a competition and I do not want anyone to take the trouble of writing posts that give such an impression, under penalty of a yellow card and deletion of the "offending" message; if the error is committed again, a red card and a ban.
I have repeatedly emphasized in many posts that this is not Thesimon and Pianoexpert's forum, this is OUR forum. Music is what we have in common and music knows no competition; it is a glue that unites people from different cultures regardless of their ideas. In this forum, it is possible to give advice but always with respect for the sensitivity of others.
I apologize for this remark which might seem like a "lecture" and I continue with the information for uploading media files...
You will notice two sections: an audio section and a video section.
AUDIO
Simple procedure
In the audio section, it is possible to upload MP3 files (I remind you that the maximum upload size is 18 Mbytes). The procedure for uploading files is very simple. Below the box where you write, the attachments section is visible. Click on the "Click to attach files" button and browse your PC folders until you reach the folder containing the file to be uploaded. Select it and confirm.
You can add comments to the attachment if you wish.
Complex procedure
An alternative can be creating an audio stream. To do this, you will need to upload your file to a web space. Therefore, your file must have an address like:
http://www.domainname.it/filename.mp3
Once you have the file address, click on the button
Enter the file address where requested and confirm.
VIDEO
For uploading clips in the video section, the procedure is very simple. Upload your video to YouTube. Once uploaded, go to your video and copy the address like:
http://www.youtube.it/watch?v=blablablabla
In the new message, click on the button and enter your video address.
