And after the Queen Elizabeth (and several others...) even the Tchaikovsky is at "zero emissions" regarding Italian contestants. Young violinists from our beautiful country, where have you ended up ???

The system hasn't been working for a long time, but now it is truly terminal.....

Should we judge musicians based on competitions? Honestly, I don't find it serious that there are no Italian musicians in this competition, and besides, there are various cycles and a thousand competitions. I wouldn't worry about it! Regarding conservatories and teachers, yes, but the fact that today there is no Italian at the Tchaikovsky, well... There will be one tomorrow.

We certainly do not judge them by competitions, and even less 'only' by competitions... but a systemic reflection is necessary... let's hope for tomorrow, but today one cannot understand where it has gone.....
