Nice, thanks Frank... Michelangeli's idea of requesting the expulsion of the Japanese from the orchestra after his mishap is funny

"...I think that knowledge is a right, knowing is a right, it is not optional..."
In this extraordinary documentary broadcast on June 14th by Swiss TV, along with numerous documents and testimonies, there is also a short interview at 1:00:22, given by Michelangeli in 1969 on the occasion of his summer courses in Lugano. Tonight Rai will also broadcast a special (at 11:30 PM on Rai Uno) about the great pianist.

NOTE AFTER WATCHING THE PROGRAM.
What a disappointment, I think it even took great effort to make something so insignificant; it is rare to see such a useless program. Who—not knowing Michelangeli (and more generally piano music and pianists)—takes anything away from this documentary? Anecdotes, oddities, gossip. Not a single word regarding the exceptionality of this musician. The discussion on perfection almost labels him as a maniac, a high-level borderline personality that leads him to exile, to solitude. Killed a second time.
I did not enjoy it at all!!!"

Thank God that R.A.I. dedicated an evening to the Great Michelangeli. The Italy of "Power" does not forgive those who abandon it due to injustice received.
