Hello everyone! First of all, compliments on the initiative; it seems truly commendable judging by the threads. I am a 46-year-old amateur pianist who abandoned studies at the age of 17 (just before the 8th-year exam). I resumed studying three years ago, initially on my own. Having maintained good musical memory and decent technique, I decided to have a teacher guide me. The results are encouraging and my passion is great. Despite being busy with work, I always make time for practice.
I am convinced that participating in this forum will bring me benefits because the exchange of experiences is essential. I will try to give my very modest contribution to the growth of this community. I thank the founders of this site, in particular Maestro Ferrarelli, for spreading culture and knowledge. This is what Italy, especially its young people, needs. So long live the founders... long live Italy!!!

I learn that you are a good pianist and that you do not leave your studies. Compliments for the passion and for the commitment. These, added to the competence of good teaching, realize precious experiences.

Speaking of music ... I read that you have reached your eighth year of piano... congratulations! I reached the fifth, but then I had to stop due to ... time 🙂!
I am nonetheless continuing my studies "on my own", but clearly I am not (and I don't think I will ever be 🙂😆😃 ...) a professional pianist. However, I love the instrument very much and I cannot help but put my hands at least once a day on my fifteen-year-old stone age electronic keyboard (I don't have a real piano ...) 🙂.
