Hello everyone!

I just signed up because I was amazed by the clarity and excellent layout of your site... compliments!

My name is Francesco, I am 13 years old (I hope that's not a problem...!) and I played piano for six years (then I stopped for various reasons, but certainly not because I didn't like it...).

At home I don't have a real piano ๐Ÿ˜‰, I have a six-octave electric keyboard from Generalmusic (it is also quite ... "antique": my dad bought it fifteen years ago... it's even older than me!) Anyway, I get by quite well; sure, the sounds aren't perfect, but they aren't that bad either ๐Ÿ˜• !

Despite this, I am "cheering myself up"...: where I go to school, in the theater hall, there is a magnificent Bechstein from 1903 that has just been restored!!! I tried it and the first sensation I had was finding myself in front of an "old splendor". It seemed very well voiced to me; furthermore, apparently, the action is very soft and agile.

I know I am not an expert, but in my opinion it is an excellent piano... could you give me some information about this brand? (PS: I would ask you not to reply to me via e-mail, since I put it in the registration, but the computer where I receive them is often locked... Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Waiting for a reply, greetings to you all!!

Bye!

PS: I don't have pianos at home, unlike Andrea (Pianistapercaso ๐Ÿ˜‰ !), whom I greet and congratulate. Dear Andrea, could you tell me something about the Bechstein? Thanks a lot!!! Bye

Hi Francesco, welcome and thank you for the compliments.

No problem regarding your 14 years; I would also like to go back to being carefree as I was at your age, so "carpe diem"!

Why don't you open a discussion about the Bechstein in a dedicated area of the forum? I am sure that our expert pianoexpert will give you all the information you request about that piano.

Don't worry about emails, this is a forum, made specifically to discuss with everyone; you will receive your replies here on the platform.
