Good evening everyone
After months, perhaps years of absence from the forum, here I am (back) again.
Some of you already know me, others (most of you) do not: I joined the forum in 2011, when it was only a few weeks old. I am not here to seek explanations for my absence: for the most part, however, it is due to a lack of time. I also apologize (with considerable delay, I know) to all the users who asked me questions that I did not answer.
Anyway, returning and seeing the forum having grown so much, more beautiful, with more users and increasingly complete can only please me.
My first greeting, therefore, is addressed to Simone and Paolo: congratulations on the work you have carried out during this time, it is truly remarkable.
I hope that this can be like a new beginning for me on the forum, after all this time away.
As a new beginning, then, I (re)introduce myself.
I am 16 years old and I am in my third year of scientific high school. Since I was little, I have dedicated myself to the study of music, starting practically as a game with the recorder at age 4, and continuing with piano (from age 8 to 10), flute (from age 11 to 13) and finally returning to piano (from age 14 until now).
I prefer classical music, but for a few years now I have also been opening up to different and more modern genres.
I have already spoken about myself and my experiences on the forum: the messages are all there, you just need to search.
What certainly pushed me to return was curiosity, but probably also the memory of an active, rich, welcoming forum in which I felt comfortable. Not least among the reasons, however, is also my discovery of a musical instrument that I had already tried, but of which I have only recently understood the greatness: the pipe organ. I will certainly tell you more about it.
I am happy to be among you again, and I hope that my presence can be a little more regular. Not constant, however: I do not want to make promises that I might risk being unable to keep.
For now, here I am.
