Hello everyone,

my name is Lorenzo, I studied classical music for 5 years (1980-85), subsequently I dedicated myself to electronic keyboards playing pop rock tracks (Phil Collins, Madonna, Queen...); a few months ago I rediscovered the magic of the piano mainly interpreting pieces by Elton John and other contemporary music authors. It was precisely this reconnection to this exciting instrument, a Steinway & Sons 180 cm from 1978 (from the videos it looks identical to Maestro Ferrarelli's), while searching for solutions to tuning and mechanics problems, that allowed me to discover this precious community. I am pleased to be able to become a part of it to share not only topics of mechanics, but also study and everything else that revolves around music and the piano.

Greetings and see you soon.

Lorenzo

Welcome Lorenzo. Mine is a 1982 Model B 211, but I find the 188, Mod. A to be an excellent instrument.....sometimes it can even sound better than the B. I am glad that you also appreciate the particular Steinway sound!

See you soon
