I am Davide, a piano graduate from Bologna, but I have always been interested in how all musical instruments work, from organs to electric guitars.
Now I have purchased an old, glorious Bluthner grand piano and I am trying, in my own small way, to find every useful piece of information to fix small flaws caused by age, without causing damage.
I had the fortune of encountering a rare anniversary version piano, of which probably only a handful were built, and I fell in love with it.
It is easy to meet people who tell you "leave it to the professionals" or "it's old, throw it away, it's not worth it," which in some cases may be true, but there are many small jobs that perhaps, with the right tips, can be done by oneself.
