I joined today, although I am, in reality, a rather inconsistent type when it comes to forums... generally! ^^
In love with the sound of the piano since I was little, I have always particularly adored Chopin; but among my favorite composers are also Liszt and Schumann, to name a few.
I also very much like Opera in general, although I have a particular preference for the slightly more 'dramatic' kind: for example, I am very passionate about Puccini works such as "Tosca" and "La Bohème", which I also find musically wonderful.
I am a great listener; I like to discover pieces and composers that are always new to me, not just regarding the piano. But I also dedicate myself all too often to an almost manic re-listening of pieces that I already know very well, almost unable to stop.
A self-taught pianist playing mostly by ear, I am currently trying to regulate myself also from a more technical point of view, studying when possible - also with the help of a friend - in a slightly better way, just like "everyone" else does.
Occasionally, I have been a self-taught singer since 2004, and since 2007 I have begun to cultivate a passion for acting, using the voice in its various nuances and emotions.
Hi and compliments on the forum (...it's easy to get lost in it, it's huge!).
Despite being a bit absent from the forum, I want to thank you two as well, Foster12 and Gilda, for your welcome!
Gilda: eh, I already like you!
the side note, your nickname reminds me of the character of Rigoletto's daughter in Verdi's namesake opera...
reading the title of this topic I regret the word "cold", since now we are melting from the heat... but... I greet you anyway, again! bye, thanks again to everyone ^__^
