Good evening everyone!!! I started studying this health walk [passeggiata di salute] exactly 4 days ago... and actually, I thought it would be much more complicated; when I proposed 3 pieces to my teacher, including the Italian concerto, he decreed that the chromatic fantasy was the simplest!!! So, I started it 4 days ago and this is the current result... it's not complete, I only got as far as the first passage of arpeggiated chords... but in 4 days I have done practically 3 pages... If anyone wants to comment, you are welcome
Ps. The high G is missing on the harpsichord I am studying on ahahahah so I had to cut the high triplet due to force majeure
Fortunately for me, I have good sight-reading skills... after a few hours of study, the piece was already starting to flow a bit...
The "nuisance" is that I study on a harpsichord with a key dip of barely 6 mm, which doesn't allow for the slightest error, also due to a relatively soft resistance; so if by mistake you overshoot a nearby key, given that the keys are significantly smaller than a piano, the principal register starts immediately and the note is heard... it is an instrument that leaves very little room for slips, even compared to Flemish and French harpsichords.
Anyway, thanks Nancy, we'll catch up in a few days when I get to the recitative ahahah
I am re-proposing the fantasy recorded today... on the Albana like the inventions, leaving out the final messes (I recorded it after 4 hours of study between well-tempered harpsichord, varied air and chromatic fantasy itself)
