On this magical day, in fact, three giants of the keyboard were born: Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli (Brescia, January 5, 1920 – Lugano, June 12, 1995), Alfred Brendel (Wiesenberg, January 5, 1931) and Maurizio Pollini (Milan, January 5, 1942).
