Good evening, I have finished regulating all the mechanics following your videos; the instrument has improved tremendously, the hammer-to-string distance is 45 mm. Now I would like to regulate the keyboard since it has a let-off of 11 mm. Can you tell me the measurements of the keys in the resting position and the let-off measurements for both the white and black keys? Is there a video tutorial? Many thanks.
Every piano has its own white key level which can also change from model to model. This measurement, starting from the keybed, can range from 58mm up to 64mm for some models. The depth of the white keys is around 10 mm with a 45 mm hammer-to-string distance. The proportion must be such as to obtain an aftertouch of about 1.00-1.50 mm. I talk about this in my tutorials (if I remember correctly). The black keys are about 12mm higher than the white keys and should, in my opinion, respect the same aftertouch as the white keys
