Tantamount that I - personally - would actually invert the titles between 'Dream' and 'The Poet Speaks' specifically in the Kinderszenen.

In fact, it is the last piece of the collection that I feel is more dreamy, oneiric, because of all those fleeting images that vanish one after another without an apparent connection between them... images with piano writing so diverse (choral, arpeggiated, recitative...)

and instead, the famous "dream" I feel is more structured: a wonderful idyll. Poetry, precisely.

Sincerely, I didn't think about the title of the piece but rather the title of the work "Kinderszenen" [Scenes from Childhood], precisely; in this first piece of Schumann's Op. 15, I feel all the disenchantment and the carefreeness of childhood; showing children (one of whom is my son) playing seemed to me the right "pairing".

Hi Nancy, that is my son Alessandro; I took the footage during a trip from Tempio to Palau on the little green train, it was an unforgettable day. When I think that just last Monday he obtained his classical high school diploma, I get a lump in my throat rewatching these images.

It seems to me that the volumes are a bit high.

Regarding the piece, it seems to me that there is a choice behind it. Perhaps just a little too much like a metronome. Anyway, I like it. Well done Giovanni!

Thank you Stefano, very kind as always, I value your opinion a lot. Effectively the recording volume is too high, it was my mistake during the video editing, and that I always get caught up in haste and then make messes.

P.s I have started Chopin's Prelude No. 20, anything but easy to perform properly. I will submit it for your attention as soon as I play it decently
